Answers about research use, testing and Certificates of Analysis, Buy Bulk 10-packs, ordering, shipping and returns.
Research peptides are short chains of amino acids made synthetically for laboratory study. Researchers use them in in-vitro assays, receptor-binding studies and other preclinical models to study how a sequence interacts with a biological target. Purpose Peptides supplies them as lyophilized (freeze-dried) reagents with batch documentation.
No. Every product is sold for laboratory research use only and is not for human or veterinary consumption. Products are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or dietary supplements, and they have not been evaluated by the FDA to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Our products are intended for researchers, laboratories and research institutions. By ordering, you confirm that you are purchasing for lawful laboratory research, and that you accept our Terms of Service and Research Use Agreement.
No. Purpose Peptides is a research chemical supplier. We are not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy or outsourcing facility, and we do not provide medical, prescribing or clinical services.
No. We publish compound identity, specifications and batch Certificates of Analysis only. Our product and research pages describe compound identity, chemistry and published literature for reference only.
We publish batch Certificates of Analysis in our COA Library, list our legal business name, phone number ((855) 595-3083), email and business address in San Clemente, California, and publish our full policies. You are welcome to contact us with any question before ordering.
Each batch is tested by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) against a specification of 98% or higher. Actual results vary by batch and are reported on that batch’s Certificate of Analysis, so check the COA for the exact figure.
A COA is the test report for a specific production batch. Ours list the sample, batch number and test date, plus results for total purity by HPLC, impurities, water and TFA content, identity confirmation by mass spectrometry, retention time, endotoxin, bioburden and heavy metals, where those tests were run.
Find the compound in the COA Library or open the COA link on its product page, then compare the batch number and size on the report with the details on your vial and order.
We publish a COA for every compound that has completed testing for its current batch. If a COA is not yet shown for a product, contact us and we will send the current report or tell you when it will be published.
Lyophilized means freeze-dried. Compounds ship as a dry powder, which is more stable in storage and transit than a solution.
Store sealed lyophilized vials frozen or refrigerated, away from light and moisture, and avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Storage temperatures for each compound are listed on its product page.
No. Compounds ship lyophilized, and reconstitution solution is sold separately.
A peptide is a single compound in its own vial. A blend combines two or more compounds co-lyophilized in one vial. A bundle is a set of separate vials grouped by research area and sold together.
A 10-pack is ten sealed vials of one compound and size, from the same tested stock as our single vials, packed and sold as one unit on the Buy Bulk page.
Each 10-pack costs 40% less than ten single vials. When your cart has five or more 10-packs, in any mix of compounds, every 10-pack in the cart is priced at 50% below ten single vials.
No. Wholesale pricing is already applied, so coupon codes, sales and other promotions do not apply to 10-packs. Coupons still apply to single vials in the same order.
Yes. Each 10-pack can be ordered with Purpose-labeled vials or with blank, unlabeled vials.
Yes. You can order up to five 10-packs of each compound and size per order. For larger volumes, use the high-volume and white-label form on the Buy Bulk page.
No. 10-packs are packed to order and ship separately from single-vial items, so they are not eligible for same-day shipping. All 10-pack stock is held in the United States and ships from California.
